Food Allergy

Food Intolerance

Do some foods give you digestive issues? We all know someone who’s lactose or gluten intolerant. Sound like you? Tired of avoiding the foods you like?

We not only test hundreds of foods. We also look at nutrients, enzymes, and anything that may cause a reaction. Problems are easier to fix when foods have a common factor.

YWe’ll help you identify food-based stressors and get rid of your sensitivities.

Food Sensitivity

Did you know: Food sensitivity can trigger other health issues even if it doesn’t happen right away. Skin issues, inflammation, headaches, asthma, and fatigue can all be caused by food sensitivity.

Oral Allergy Syndrome

Oral allergy syndrome, also known as pollen-food allergy, is when a pollen allergy makes you react to raw fruit, vegetables, or tree nuts that contain a molecule (phenolic compound) common to both food and pollens.

Symptoms often include swelling of the lips or itching in the mouth, ears or throat. Cooked foods are usually fine.

Whether a food is affected depends on its pollen cross-reactivity. For example:

Birch pollen: Apples, almonds, carrots, celery, cherries, hazelnuts, kiwi fruit, peaches, pears, plums

Grass pollen: Celery, melons, oranges, peaches, tomatoes

Ragweed pollen: Bananas, cucumbers, melons, sunflower seeds, zucchini
