First Consultation
We set aside some 90 minutes for your first visit so we can get to know you and ensure our treatment reflects your needs. Your first visit will cover the following:
History
After reviewing your health forms, we’ll discuss your short-term concerns and long-term objectives.
Goals
We’ll factor these concerns and objectives into your treatment plan.
Bioenergetic Health Assessment
We perform a Meridian Stress Assessment with the aid of computerized Electrodermal Screening (EDS). Each acupoint we test is linked to a system, organ, or gland, and the findings show which areas of the body are balanced, stressed, or weakened.
We might also test or recommend herbs, supplements, or cleanses to treat imbalances found at this stage.
Sensitivity Testing
We will also look at general irritants (food-based, environmental, etc.), add personalized tests to reflect your own needs, and provide and explain all findings to you on the same day. We have thousands of samples to chose from.
Treatment plan
Once we know your sensitivities and health priorities, we will prepare a treatment plan outlining the number of sessions and the problem or issue each session will address.
Balancing Sessions
For each 30-minute session, we will assess your improvement and review the substances or allergens for which you are being treated.
You may begin as soon as you get your results. Many clients who come to us from other cities book treatment immediately after the first consultation. If you wish to do this, be sure to request it. Most patients have three to eight sessions (based on the number of health concerns) before booking a follow-up.
Follow-Up
The follow-up may be the most gratifying part of the process, where we re-test each substance or allergen from your treatment sessions to confirm that your sensitivities are gone.
Follow-ups are needed to ensure your sensitivities are gone for good. Though it can take up to four sessions to clear a sensitivity, we usually don’t book four up-front. We normally start with one or two and then re-test to see if more are needed.
We use this appointment to follow up on your initial concerns, make sure you’re feeling better, re-do the Meridian Stress Assessment, and follow up on our initial recommendations or supplement plan.
If needed, we will add more tests and plan the next steps toward achieving your health goals.
